We’ve just completed our latest ISO/IEC 27001 recertification, and I’m pleased to report a clean sheet!
After a full three-day audit with the British Assessment Bureau, plus a one-day transitional review earlier this year, Krystal is now officially certified against the updated 2022 standard for another 12 months.
That means no nonconformities and no recommendations. Just confirmation that our information security management is doing exactly what it should.
Why this matters
ISO 27001 is the globally recognised standard for information security. For a hosting company, it’s a vital part of earning and keeping your trust. It covers everything from how we handle risk to how we respond to incidents and secure our systems.
Whether you’re a developer, an agency or an organisation with strict compliance needs, this certification is a clear, independent sign that we take data security seriously and can back it up.
What it involves
Achieving certification against the updated 2022 version of ISO 27001 means meeting more challenging requirements than before. The latest standard brings added focus on cloud services, threat detection and supply chain risk - all key areas for a modern, cloud-first hosting provider.
Passing the audit means demonstrating robust controls across the business: from how we configure infrastructure, to how we train staff and handle client data. It’s a big commitment, involving months of internal reviews, documentation, testing and preparation. And it doesn’t stop here - staying certified is a year-round job.
A platform built for peace of mind
Security is built into everything we do, from our UK-based cloud infrastructure to the way we monitor and manage threats behind the scenes. This recertification is just one more way we hold ourselves to the highest standards.
Thanks to everyone involved for their hard work and dedication, and thanks to you, our valued clients, for trusting us to deliver hosting that’s not just fast, reliable and sustainable, but secure by design, too.
